No PhD required in GA. Of the four DED's, one is on our main campus in Athens, one is on our satellite campuses in Griffin, one on our campus in Tifton, and the final office is on Georgia Southern University's Campus. We don't specifically hire CED's but it is an additional responsibility given to experienced Agents. Hope this helps! If so, do they each live in the same town/within driving distance of your campus? If not, do you assign them offices at other University locations (e.g. research stations, etc.).
