Sheri, Our DED's are tenured faculty with Ph.D's. We have five DED's. The two whose districts are closest to the campus in Gainesville do have their offices on the main campus. The other three have offices in either research centers or county offices in their districts. They live in their districts. I'm checking on the minimum quals for CED's. I know they vary slightly from county to county, but will report back in a day or two. Take care. Good to hear from you. DED and CED qualifications And, while I have you on the line, could you also report whether or not your DEDs are required to have a PhD? And, last but not least, I would appreciate seeing what your "minimum qualifications' are for your CED positions. Thanks! No Rush! Sheri -- Sheri L.
