This training is open to school educators and counselors, school nurses, social workers, psychologists, parents, military family readiness groups, as well as other caring adults interested in learning more about improving the education of military connected-children. MCEC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, world-wide organization, focused on ensuring quality educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and transition. We also perform research, develop resources, conduct professional institutes and conferences, and develop and publish resources for all constituencies. The training will be at in the iostudio First Floor Conference Room, at 565 Marriott Drive, Suite 100, Nashville, TN 37214. Attached is our 'Save the Date' flyer and the event is open for registration on MCEC's website (www.militaryChild.org<http://www.militaryChild.org>). MCEC is accredited to issue CEUs (through the Texas State Board of Social Workers Examiners (provider number 5298) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (provider number 6283). Up to 1.2 Credit /12 hours Continuing Education Credits through IACET & NBCC can be earned at this training.
