Enjoy the break, and we'll see you in January 2013! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good News --- Jamie Madere, a UT junior, has received a $5,000 scholarship through the National Retail Foundation's Ray M. Greenly Scholarship fund. She was one of twenty-four college students nationwide to receive the award this fall. Each student was nominated by educators at their schools based on their academic achievements and passion for retail. The scholarship will cover educational costs and a stipend to attend the federation's January convention in New York City. --- Doug Blaze, dean of UT's College of Law, has received the 2012 Deborah Rhode Award from the American Association of Law Schools. The graduate hooding ceremony is set for 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, and the commencement ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Jones Student Leadership Conference and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, sponsored by the UT Center for Leadership and Service, is is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in the University Center.
