*Submission and conference information*

The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until Friday,
December 21, 2012. The abstracts will be peer reviewed using a double blind
process.


How are librarians and information professional using evidence to inform
practice? The possibilities are endless! Across library sectors librarians
around the world are consulting the research evidence in library and
information studies (LIS) as well as other fields such as marketing,
business, education, and management. Finding and applying research evidence
is the hallmark of evidence based library and information practice.
Librarians are also conducting research and adding valuable evidence to the
LIS body of knowledge, engaging in knowledge transfer with their own
research experiences.


The 7th International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice
conference is the place to come and participate in the EBLIP conversation.


The International Program Committee for EBLIP7 invites you to submit
abstracts for papers and posters for the conference to be held at the
University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada from July 15 - 18, 2013.


EBLIP7 is aimed at all library and information professionals from all
disciplines and sectors. EBLIP7 will continue the tradition of offering a
welcoming and supportive environment to all whether newcomers or
experienced practitioners of evidence based practice.


*Conference Themes*

Research papers, reviews of evidence, reports of innovative practice, hot
topic discussion papers and poster presentations are invited.


In the spirit of our conference title, "The Possibilities are Endless," and
in line with EBLIP7’s prairie roots, key themes include:



   - Beyond the horizon - visioning the future, investigation, discovery


   - Ploughing new terrain - cultivating and enhancing productivity through
   innovation, experimentation, transforming practice


   - Harvesting the rewards - assessing outcomes, impact, value


   - Summer fallow - lessons learnt, reflection, insight
