Annual performance reviews allow UT staff and supervisors the opportunity to discuss job performance, set professional development goals, establish objectives for contributing to the department's mission, and discuss expectations and accomplishments. Performance review summary forms<http://humanresources.tennessee.edu/employeerelations/docs/Performance%20Review/PR%20Summary%20with%20Goals%20Oct%2019%202012.pdf> are due between January 1, 2013 and March 31, 2013. It is recommended that supervisors complete performance review training to familiarize themselves with the performance review process. On October 31, 2012, we honored 34 employees who completed the certification over the past year. The 32-hour certification consists of 11 courses that deal with various customer service topics. We hope the interaction and knowledge presented in this certification proves to be valuable during day-to-day working relationships. During the celebration, our graduates mentioned some of the most important themes that they have taken from the certification so far: * The importance of good attitude and interpersonal skills * Understanding different types of customers and their needs * Using positivity to deal with difficult situations Thank you to everyone who has shown support for this certification.
