School of Information Studies University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Certificate of Advanced Studies – Digital Library Scholarship Award Amount: $5,000 (distributed between two semesters toward tuition ) Description: This scholarship is awarded to individuals with a Master of Library and Information Science degree (MLIS) or a Master's degree in a closely related field such as history, educational technology or computer science , who want to update their knowledge and develop a specialty relating to the acquisition, organization, storing and dissemination and maintenance of digital collections and services. Number of Awards: Five awarded annually. This award is subject to availability of funds. Eligibility Criteria: Academic merit based on graduate performance. Incoming students only. Application Procedure: All incoming students admitted to the CAS Digital Libraries are considered. Application Deadline: None Stipulations: Recipients must be enrolled for at least three (3) graduate credits per semester during the first academic year and finish the program within three years.
