OIT's
Masquerade was a Ball
We would like to thank the faculty, instructors, GTAs and staff who attended OIT Support's Faculty Meet and Greet on the 5th floor of Greve Hall. Guests toured our new office space
and learned about OIT's teaching, research, and other support services, explored innovative technologies in the Mobile Learning Lounge, and chatted with faculty at the Faculty Lounge.
Here's what attendees said:
“This was AWESOME, so neat to meet everyone face to face and learn about services that aren't widely known.”
“Very informative and fun.”
“FUN! Enjoy(ed) the food and learning about all the services.”
Let's keep the conversation going. If you have ideas or need our assistance, fill out a
Request for Assistance. View event photographs and prize winners
on our website.

Autodesk/AutoCAD
Autodesk Education Master Suite 2013, which consists of engineering, design and modeling software developed by Autodesk, Inc., is available for free to faculty and staff at UTK and
UTSI for installation on University-owned computers. The Suite 2013 includes more than two-dozen individual applications, including AutoCAD for 2D and 3D design and drafting for Windows and Mac. The OIT online Autodesk/AutoCAD installation document includes
a list of all the applications. The Suite 2013 applications and the applications from the three previous versions are available from the Autodesk Subscription Center.
UT recently acquired an Autodesk Subscription contract for faculty and staff. Under the Subscription option, each AutoCAD user has immediate access to the latest software releases and incremental product enhancements as soon as they become available via download
