Geographers, especially students and families,

As zoos go, the Knoxville zoo is a nice one -- but  it's a bit pricey for students on GTA salaries ($19.95 adult admission, with $5 parking on top of that), or anyone with a family because of course your children want to bring a friend, right?  (tickets for children 2-12 are $15.95 each).

So you might want to know that the zoo is FREE this weekend.

Details are here:

A donation of nonperishable food or other items is requested, but you'll still save a bundle with this offer.

For grad students new to Knoxville, this is a great opportunity to see the Knoxville zoo for the price of a few cans of beans that will help the hungry!

Sincerely,

Sally
