I just received information on a "Paychecks for Patriots" Hiring Fair being held next Thursday, October 25 from 10 am to 2 pm at ALL regional TN Career Centers, including Knoxville. The Tennessee Department of Labor has partnered with Dollar General and several major employers in Tennessee to connect veterans with jobs. This statewide effort will target Veterans seeking employment, and the Knoxville Career Center expects to have TN Veteran's Administration Commissioner Many Bears Grinder join them from 10 - 11 a.m.. The Tennessee Career Center in Knoxville is located at 1610 University Avenue, Knoxville. Their phone # is 865-594-5500.
