The Smoky Mountain Counseling Association (SMCA) is an association whose purpose is to unite, in one organization, all persons engaged or interested in any phase of counseling and developmental work in East Tennessee. Any person who is involved in or interested in counseling and development work in the East Tennessee area is eligible to become a member.
Please join us for our meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11th, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. We will be meeting at the Sequoyah Grill in the Western Plaza Shopping Center, Knoxville. The meeting will be organized as follows: 5:30 – 6:30 dinner and business, 6:30 – 7:30 program.
We are excited to have representatives from the Knox County Health Department as our guest speakers. Brooke Rathnow will share information about the “Stay Teen” program and D. Andes will discuss the indigent programs for our county. Knox County employees may register on ERO to receive professional hours for attending this meeting.
