TO ALL SCHOOL COUNSELORS AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELORS (Tracy Horton, Secretary, Smoky Mountain Counseling Association) The Smoky Mountain Counseling Association (SMCA) is an association whose purpose is to unite, in one organization, all persons engaged or interested in any phase of counseling and developmental work in East Tennessee. Any person who is engaged in or interested in counseling and development work in the East Tennessee area is eligible to become a member. Please join us for our next meeting on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. Due to the unexpected closure of our planned meeting location, we will meet at Puleo’s Merchant’s Road, which is located at 110 Cedar Lane, Knoxville 37912. The meeting will be organized as follows: 5:30 – 6:30 dinner and business, 6:30 – 7:30 program. We are excited to have Emmett Thompson from The Mission of Hope as our speaker. This will be an informational meeting on the wonderful educational opportunity that is provided to many young people in Appalachia. Please try to attend this very enlightening program.
