GreyNet welcomes NIS-IAEA as new Associate Member

The Nuclear Information Section (NIS) of the International Atomic Energy
Agency (IAEA) has recently taken on GreyNet Associate Membership. The
Nuclear Information Section consists of the International Nuclear
Information System (INIS), the IAEA Library, and the Systems Development and
Support Group. INIS is one the world's largest custodians of published
information on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. The INIS
Collection contains over 3.4 million bibliographic records and offers online
access to a unique collection of non-conventional (grey) literature (NCL).
This collection exceeds over 320 000 full-text documents, such as scientific
and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents and theses, which are

The IAEA Library provides library and information management services in all
areas of IAEA activities. Its core functions are management of internal and
external information resources; provision of library information services,
research support, promotion of information exchange, cooperation and
resource sharing between nuclear information centers and libraries
