Greetings, Please see https://www.coursera.org/course/insidetheinternet a course on the history of the Internet. Starts (TBA). Could be interesting. I lived most of this history, so it will be an interesting perspective. A very interesting part is the interviews with the pioneers of the net and the web. The most interesting parts of the course may well be its format in general, and the handling of discussion groups. While content will be important, the medium or process of conveying this content may be the most interesting. Join me! --gw PS This is offered by a U Wash IS prof, Charles Severance. Let's see what he can do. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Gretchen Whitney, PhD, Retired School of Information Sciences University of Tennessee, Knoxville TN 37996 USA [log in to unmask] http://web.utk.edu/~gwhitney/ jESSE:http://web.utk.edu/~gwhitney/jesse.html SIGMETRICS:http://web.utk.edu/~gwhitney/sigmetrics.html <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
