TENNESSEE MATERIALS EXCHANGE BULLETIN
Volume 30, No.3
September 2012
The Tennessee Materials Exchange (TME) is operated by The University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services. This free service helps Tennessee businesses find users for
surplus and off-spec. materials, and industrial by-products. Materials that your company wants to get rid of may be items that another company can use. The Tennessee Materials Exchange is sponsored by the
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation
Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste Management.
FY13 Recycling Equipment Grant
The recycling equipment grant is an excellent way for local governments and non-profit recycling organizations working with local governments to
purchase key pieces of recycling equipment. Items traditionally purchased under this grant include: roll off containers, skid loaders, shredders, scales, and assorted styles of collection containers.
This grant is a matching grant up to $25,000. Matching portion is 10%-50% and is based on population and economic ability.
