PhD Student Nate Williams Awarded Prestigious NIMH F31 Research Fellowship Congratulations to second-year PhD student Nate Williams, who has just received the prestigious and competitive National Institute for Mental Health F31 Research Fellowship. William's project, "Understanding the Impact of Organizational Implementation Strategies on Evidence-based Treatment Use," is a three year award.
Williams said "I’m very excited about receiving this award. Hundreds of exceptional students from the nation’s top universities submitted proposals so having mine selected for funding was a tremendous honor. The grant will allow me to work on large-scale NIMH-funded research projects, attend national conferences and methodological workshops, and visit research laboratories from coast to coast." Williams called the award a true team effort, and credited the exceptional faculty and staff of University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Social Work Children's Mental Health Services Research Center for their support.
