Posted to TLA listserv: Work schedule would be 9am-1pm on Saturdays plus an additional 3-6 hours during the week during the fall and spring semesters. The job runs from the week of August 20th to the end of April. There is a 4 week break from mid-December to mid-January.
Position Description:
Manage library on Saturdays
Work front desk Saturdays and during the week
Answer the phone
Check books in and out
Provide reference help to students and area residents
Provide basic computer help
Answer directional and other questions for students and area residents
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Library or Information Science or coursework towards
that degree
Strong customer service skills
library and reference experience is preferred, but not required
Pay:
$13-15/hour, depending on degree and experience
