Job Description:
• Be familiar with the supported applications, which use a variety of
technologies, and provide support for them on a daily basis. This support will
include, but may not be limited to, reviewing reported problems; prioritizing
and researching these problems; identifying resolutions; resolution
implementation consisting of code modifications, unit/system testing involving
business and/or systems personnel, and activities necessary to the release of
the modifications to the production environment.
• Document processes and procedures required for support.
• Learn new applications and functionality as required.
• Participate as needed on special projects involving implementation of
a new tools or applications.
• Participation in the On Call rotation two weeks at a time as required
Technical Requirements:
• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of application support experience
utilizing Java/J2EE technologies to include servlets, JSPs, Java Beans, Struts
Framework, etc.
• Candidate must also have 1+ year of development experience with
C/Visual C++ AND 1+ year of scripting experience with Perl, VB scripting or
Javascript.
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL 10g is a
plus.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of UNIX commands and
basic shell scripting.
Salary: 55,000-70,000
Education Requirement: Bachelor of Computer Science OR Equivalent Work
