--- Central Program Council interest meeting, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 in the UC Shiloh Room. Representatives from all six of CPC's committees will be present: Campus Entertainment Board, Cultural Attractions Committee, Film Committee, Issues Committee, Visual Arts Committee, and Women's Coordinating Council. Get Involved

--- All students involved in human subjects research at UT, including thesis and dissertation research, are now required to be certified in IRB/Human Subjects Research training. The training is offered online through Blackboard. For information and registration contact [log in to unmask]

--- The English Language Institute (ELI) is seeking volunteers from the campus and community to serve in its fall Conversation Partners Program. --- The library is looking for two-dimensional works of art to be displayed in 135 Hodges Library. The Student Art in the Library contest awards a First Prize of $300 and a Second Prize of $150. Knoxville Connection

--- The Dance Society is hosting auditions for the BOSS Dance Company, a student group that performs on campus and in the Knoxville community. Genres of dance include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Salsa. Auditions will be held Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in AMB 209. Questions?
