TO ALL SCHOOL COUNSELORS AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELORS (Tracy Horton, Secretary, Smoky Mountain Counseling Association) The Smoky Mountain Counseling Association (SMCA) is an association whose purpose is to unite, in one organization, all persons engaged or interested in any phase of counseling and developmental work in East Tennessee. Any person who is involved in or interested in counseling and development work in the East Tennessee area is eligible to become a member. Please join us for our meeting on Thursday, Sept. 13th, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. We will be meeting at the Sequoyah Grill in the Western Plaza Shopping Center, Knoxville. The meeting will be organized as follows: 5:30 – 6:30 dinner and business, 6:30 – 7:30 program. We are excited to have the Rev. Ragan Schriver, Executive Director of Catholic Charities as our guest speaker. Learn of the many social services provided in our area to individuals regardless of religious affiliation. Knox County School employees may register on ERO to receive professional hours for attending this meeting.
