DUBLIN, Ohio, USA—Electronically submitted proposals for the 2013 OCLC/ALISE Library and Information Science Research Grant Program are due by midnight Saturday, 15 September 2012.
OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc. and OCLC Research, in collaboration with the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE), invite research proposals for the 2013 Library and Information Science Research Grant Program (LISRGP). Awards of up to $15,000 are available to full-time academic faculty in schools of library and information science or related fields.
OCLC and ALISE encourage international proposals and collaborative projects under this program. To aid new researchers, priority will be given when possible to proposals from junior faculty and applicants who have not previously received LISRGP funds.
Award recipients will be notified by the end of 2012 and will be honored at the 2013 ALISE Annual Conference, 22-25 January 2013, in Seattle, Washington.
