Position Title: Associate Professor and Assistant Professor

Job Description:  Two positions, one tenured and one tenure-track.  Both have responsibilities for teaching, advising, maintenance of personal research program, participation in professional activities, and serving on university committees. Both are academic year appointments.
 
Teaching and research responsibilities will require expertise in one or more areas of the curriculum, e.g.,: management, systems analysis, knowledge management, information technology, organization of knowledge, information resources and services, knowledge organization, information policy, or health informatics. Candidates should be prepared to teach in the graduate level core, and may also be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) program. Opportunities exist to work with doctoral students in the College, and to shape the evolution of an exciting new degree program.
 
Qualifications: Requires an earned doctorate in library and information science or a related area, good academic training, and research in relevant areas of interest to College faculty and students.  Appointment with tenure requires a strong record of teaching and research.

Faculty positions are for nine months with possible opportunities for summer teaching. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and level of appointment.
