The Master of Library and Information Science Program at St. Catherine University is pleased to welcome a new faculty member, Dr. Kyunghye Yoon, who will be joining us in Fall 2012. She received her Ph.D. in Information Transfer from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. Her research focuses on information seeking, use, and behavior, with a focus on human-information interaction and user-based information retrieval through web based information systems. Dr. Yoon comes to us from a position as Assistant Professor in the Information Science Program, Computer Science Department, at the State University of New York at Oswego, where she has taught courses on information technology infrastructure, information retrieval, human computer interaction, decision support systems, social informatics, database design, and web development.
