Basic Requirements: Master's degree in library and information science or related field or equivalent knowledge with four years of related experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity. Professional research experience in a science or medical library is desired. Demonstrated SME (Subject Matter Expertise) in health & medical Sciences. Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) Certification is desired. Undergraduate degree in science, health or pre-medicine a plus. Proven ability to use online and print resources efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements. Proven ability to locate and use gray literature. Extensive experience with complex search logic and understanding of unified search tools. Experience evaluating and recommending health/medical information resources. Strong proficiency in the use of bibliographic software (End Note desired). Knowledge of and experience with data visualization methodologies, information mapping, and topic trending. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience with information management software products. Proven ability to organize and deliver training sessions to groups and individuals, especially on the key tools and resources in the health/medical information field. Experience leading and working on project teams.
