I am hoping someone in the collective brain can help me. I recently installed a receipt printer on one of my circ stations (Windows 7), and gave the user rights to manage the printer. When I ran a windows test page, it printed with no problem. When I logged in as the user and tried to print from the ILS, I got a message that the printer can't be found in the list. If I'm logged in as the local or network admins, it prints from the ILS just fine. When I tried to give the user rights to the System32/spool folder as the network admin, I got a series of messages telling me I don't have access. The domain admin doesn't even show up in the list of users. As the local admin, I couldn't add domain users. Is there something I need to do at the server level (server 2008) to give the domain administrator access to change the System32 folder? My experience is somewhat limited, but I have never encountered anything like this before.
