Tennessee Libraries, the journal of the Tennessee Library Association, seeks an individual or team to compile its annual Tennessee bibliography. The bibliography is a list of monographs published in the previous year that are either about Tennessee -- the place, its people or history -- or by Tennessee authors.

Bibliographers compile an alphabetical list by author, summarize the link to Tennessee (where needed), and provide hyperlinks to Google Books, Worldcat, or other sources of additional information or reviews. See the 2009 bibliography here

Please contact me if you are interested in compiling the 2011 Tennessee bibliography or have questions. We will publish the list in the September or December issue of this year, so we would like to have the completed bibliography by August 1, 2012.

Tennessee Libraries is very grateful to Eloise and John Hitchcock who have compiled the bibliography for the past few years. A multi-year commitment is not necessary from a new bibliographer, although it is welcome.
