UT ARBORETUM SOCIETY TO HOLD PLANT CARE AND HERBICIDE APPLICATION FOR WORKSHOP MARCH 17

 

The University of Tennessee Arboretum Society will sponsor a plant care and herbicide application for backyard plants workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the UT Arboretum, 901 S. Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge.

Jeff Holt, a forester, will lead a workshop on mulching trees and shrubs. Areas to be covered will be: purpose of mulch, types of mulch, depth and mulch placement. 

Matt Cuttell from UT Plant Services extension will lead the herbicide application discussion.
