The School of Library and Information Science, University of Kentucky, is pleased to announce the availability of its new undergraduate minor in Information Studies effective Spring semester 2013. The minor consists of 18 credit hours selected from the following 3 credit hour courses:
-Information Literacy and Critical Thinking
-General Information Sources
-Technologies for Information Services
-Multimedia
-Communication and Information Systems in Organizations
-Network Management
-Systems Analysis
-The Internet and Social Change
-Competitive Intelligence
-Introduction to Biomedical Informatics
The minor is being offered in collaboration with the Media Arts and Studies program in the School of Journalism and Telecommunication.
