Room Type - There are generally four types of rooms on a ship: -Interior: economical rooms with no windows -Oceanview: the most economical rooms with an exterior facing window* -Balcony: features a sliding glass door leading to a private balcony overlooking the ocean* -Suite: large rooms with a balcony that may include more amenities and special services and accommodate more guests. Some suites will feature multiple rooms. Stateroom Category - Each room type is further categorized into stateroom categories. Each category corresponds to a different location on the ship (i.e. which deck and relative location,front-to-back) and there may be some variations in room size and amenities. Location, Location, Location - Considerations for your room location (stateroom category) are numerous and highly personal. Convenience to elevators, pools, and dining may be a priority. Or, avoiding noisier areas or parts of the ship where sea motion could be felt more (like the front or back of the ship) may be important. In this issue you will see firm prices for the cruise portion only. A $350 deposit will hold your space, and you can pick your room. These deposits can be made starting May 7, 2012. Final payments are due June 10, 2013. Monthly installment payments are your choice as to amounts. We will start reserving rooms in May, 2012 but officially program schedules with seminar and tour choices will not go live until September 1, 2012.
