In collaboration with IFLA, De Gruyter is to publish a new series of ‘Global Studies in Libraries and Information.’
 
The complex processes involved in the international dissemination of information and knowledge, and the roles of libraries and related information agencies in facilitating access require practicing librarians and information workers to be aware of opportunities and challenges that arise internationally.  We aim to publish thoughtful and multi-facetted books, authored by leading professionals and scholars that:
 
Texts in the series could be single or joint-authored, or an edited compilations of papers.  If you are nearing completion of some relevant research and might be interested in submitting it for publication, have an idea for a book that would fit in with the themes of the series, or would be interested in bringing together and guiding a team of good writers to compile a book, please contact me with an outline of your suggestion.
