Chicago State University Library and Instruction Services invite applications from qualified, innovative, and experienced candidates for the position of Associate Dean. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean and is responsible for advancing the vision of, providing leadership to, and bringing an innovative and strategic approach to the services provided through Library and Instruction Services.

Library and Instruction Services is a division in Academic Affairs at Chicago State University. The Library, consisting of Technical Services, Public Services, and Archives and Special Collections, works to provide the campus community access to an extensive collection that is rich in content, while Instruction Services, including Distance Learning, the Center for Teaching and Research Excellence, and the Learning Assistance Center, provides faculty and students with a board array of academic resources and services to support teaching and learning. Together, these units create an environment that supports and nurtures the campus community’s academic endeavors.
