In the ten years since the last SLW issue on school library education (see volume 6, number 2 <http://www.iasl-online.org/pubs/slw/slwjuly00.html>), much has happened to the profession of school librarianship and the way in which education programs are delivered. For this issue, we encourage papers that explore how changes in the profession as well as in education delivery systems have influenced school library education programs. /School Libraries Worldwide/ also welcomes submissions of excellent research on any topic relating to school librarianship for the open portion of the journal.
