Dominican GSLIS & Hubbard Street Dance Company Hello jESSE-ers!

I’m pleased to share some information about an innovative partnership between Dominican University’s GSLIS and Chicago’s Hubbard Street Dance Company.  Hubbard Street will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2012, and they have a massive audiovisual archive of performances, rehearsals, and special events that has never been cataloged or organized.

Dr. Cecilia Salvatore found four archives students to help Hubbard Street improve their database, create a finding aid, and add more metadata to each record, and produce a manual for the company to help them maintain the archive, all with the goal of making these extensive resources more accessible.
