You have been added as a member of the Global Ranavirus Consortium (GRC) listserv. The objective of this listserv is to facilitate global communication among scientists and veterinarians that are working with ranaviruses. The listserv is organized and managed through the Global Ranavirus Consortium (http://fwf.ag.utk.edu/mgray/ranavirus/Ranavirus.htm). To post to the listserv, send an email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Appropriate content for posting includes (but is not limited to) sharing information on recent die-offs, research findings, or publications; asking questions or discussing topics related to ranaviruses or ranaviral disease; and providing information about GRC activities. If you do not want to be a member of this listserv, please follow the instructions below to unsubscribe. If you know of colleagues or students that would like to join, they can subscribe at: http://listserv.utk.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=GRC or send an email to me ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). Anyone can post to the listserv (including non-members) and all postings are archived<http://listserv.utk.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=GRC> and can be viewed by the public. A description of the listserv and basic instructions are provided on the GRC website. Additional instructions on listserv use and commands are provided below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. All the Best---- Matt Gray GRC LISTSERV Instructions: To send a message to all of the people currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, which is called the list address. You must never try to send any command to that address, as it would be distributed to all the people who have subscribed. All commands must be sent to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, which is the LISTSERV address. It is important to understand the difference between the two. You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF GRC" command to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. You can also tell LISTSERV how you want it to confirm the receipt of messages you send to the list. To send yourself a copy of your own messages, send a "SET GRC REPRO" command. Alternatively, to have LISTSERV send you a short acknowledgement instead of the entire message, send a "SET GRC ACK NOREPRO" command. Finally, you can turn off acknowledgements completely with the "SET GRC NOACK NOREPRO" command. Note: Subscription settings and preferences can also be set using LISTSERV's Web Interface. For more information on using commands or on using the Web Interface to set your subscription settings, see the List Subscriber's Manual at http://www.lsoft.com/resources/manuals.asp. Contributions sent to this list are automatically archived. You can access the list archives at http://listserv.utk.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=GRC. You may need to log in or get a password for the Web interface to view the archives. This list is available in digest form. If you wish to receive the digested version of the postings, then issue a "SET GRC DIGEST" command. More information on LISTSERV commands can be found in the LISTSERV reference card, which you can retrieve by sending an "INFO REFCARD" command to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. ______________________________________________________________ Matthew J.
