University of Tennessee - Knoxville program recognized in federal child support enforcement publication

The Tennessee Partnership for Ongoing Parental Support (TPOPS) project, managed by the College of Social Work's Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS), has served Tennessee's prison population for three years. The program helps non-custodial parents learn parenting skills while still incarcerated and then assists them in finding work and accessing other critical services in their communities when they are released.

TPOPS Coordinator Monica Roush recently presented results of the program at a national child support conference, and her findings were featured in the November issue of the Child Support Report, a publication of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Child Support Enforcement.
