The Digital Assets Librarian contributes to the acquisition, production and management of the library's digital assets and e-resources, and provides metadata and technical expertise to advance the library's strategic goals in support of the university's teaching, learning and research endeavors. The successful candidate will participate in the activities related to acquiring, organizing and providing access to the library's digital resources, including license review, activation of e-resources and knowledge base maintenance; develop and implement appropriate metadata strategies to enhance discovery, management and presentation of digital collections; and coordinate the library's digital projects, including its institutional repository. This is a tenure-track, eight-month, bargaining-unit faculty appointment. Attainment of tenure is dependent upon job performance, scholarship, and service.
