This is the first call for SSLIS’s jubilee conference the 6-7th of December 2012. In the autumn of 2012 it will be 40 years since SSLIS welcomed its first group of library students.
The anniversary will be celebrated in several ways. One way is through a two day-conference next autumn. The conference will cover both current research areas and educational issues within LIS. It will take place at the University of Borås, and it will be free of charge (participants are expected to cover travel and accommodation costs).
More information about the conference programme, including dates for call for papers and registration, will be announced in due time. However, keep the following dates free in your calendar: 6-7th of December, 2012.

Bibliotekshögskolan i Borås fyller 40 år
Detta är ett första utrop till Bibliotekshögskolans jubileumskonferens 6-7 december 2012. Hösten 2012 är det nämligen 40 år sedan Bibliotekshögskolan slog upp sina portar för den första kullen bibliotekariestudenter.
Firandet av detta jubileum har flera inslag under hösten nästa år. Ett är en tvådagars jubileumskonferens som kommer att handla om aktuella och brännande utbildnings- och forskningsfrågor.
Konferensen äger rum på Högskolan i Borås och är kostnadsfri. (Resa och logi betalar deltagarna själva, som vanligt.) Vi kommer snart att återkomma med närmare information om viktiga datum för call for papers, anmälning och detaljerat program, men ber Dig att redan nu boka dessa två dagar i din almanacka för 2012: 6-7 december.
