Prof. Bill Williamson, professor at UW-Madison from 1966 until his retirement in 1987 died Nov. 19, 2011, in Madison. He was a library historian, noted as the author of the biography of William Frederick Poole. He served as a library consultant in Indonesia on three occasions, in 1960-62, in 1970, and in 1986, and served for four years as editor of International Leads, a publication of the International Relations Round Table. A memorial service will be held at a later date. -- Louise S.
