I want to remind you that the Georgia Archives is seeking a qualified State Records Officer to implement our Digital Archives and to assist with statewide records management. If you would forward this announcement to anyone who might be interested in such a position—or if you could circulate this to archival and records management organizations in your state—I would greatly appreciate it.
Although the state government in Georgia has suffered budget cuts in the past few years, the records management side of my agency has an independent income stream which supports this position and our digital archives efforts.
