________________________________
FHWA will host a free webinar series on local rural road safety. FHWA has developed a series of documents to identify rural safety issues related to intersections, roadway departure, and information analysis. The series is geared toward local road managers and other practitioners who operate and maintain rural roads. It offers information on procedures and processes to improve the safety of local rural unsignalized intersections and highway segments experiencing roadway departure crashes, and to reduce the potential for future crashes. While the roadway departure webinar has already been held, opportunities still remain to participate in the intersection safety and safety information analysis sessions.
