We are pleased to announce the IX Trejo Foster Foundation Institute : “Education and library services: conecting frontiers”, to be held, for the first time in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico from October 5 to 6, the main goal is to identified strategies and proposals who allow the Librarianship and the Information Sciences come to the Hispanic community assistance, mainly those who live in the USA and Canada to improve their access to appropriate information sources, in order to face different situations and keep in touch with their own culture.
Traditionally this meeting has been held in different cities all over the USA, and this is the first time that will go out from this country, and has been chosen the city of Chihuahua, Mexico in liaison with the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, the State and Municipal Governments as well as other important local institutions. You´re welcome to this adventure!
