Program Proposals sought for 2012 ALA Annual Conference
Submission Deadline: MONDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2011

REFORMA Programs Committee is now accepting proposals for innovative, inspiring, and meaningful programs that have broad appeal within this year’s commemorative theme:

Following a powerful expression of our unity at REFORMA National Conference IV, it’s time to communicate our work to the larger library world. Latinos are acknowledged as the fastest-growing population in the U.S., and live in every state. We can use this opportunity to demonstrate our values and share our knowledge.

A wide range of topics is encouraged! Ideas include recruitment, advocacy, programming, outreach, technology, youth services, literacy and biliteracy, language, library administration, best practices, critical perspectives, and so forth.

REFORMA committees, members, and other interested individuals are welcome to submit a proposal.

All program proposals are due by e-mail on MONDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2011 to:

Denice Adkins, Vice-President/Chair, Programs Committee
