The Catholic University of America
School of Library and Information Science

100 years ago, on July 2, 1911, the unity of Catholic curriculum, Catholic pedagogy, and Catholic scholarship appeared in library education when, for the first time, library education courses were
taught in CUA's first Summer Sessions. This historical milestone, as well as our 30th year as a School of Library and Information Science, will be acknowledged as we celebrate,
"A Century of Knowledge, Service and Discovery."
