Dean Cloonan's research presentation on 11/1 is open to the public in person in SLIS Room 503 in Gorgas Library and will also available live online by way of Wimba. Dean Cloonan's workshop on Wednesday is open to the public in person, but will not be available via Wimba.
Dean Cloonan's visit to The University of Alabama School of Library and Information Studies is funded in part by an IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program Grant<http://test.imls.gov/news/2011/062111a_list.shtm#AL> that is facilitating a one-year planning process at SLIS for the development of a dual master's degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and Book Arts (MFA).
