For North Carolina A&T State University:

·         Masters Level: $9,000 - $10,000, plus tuition (no fees) for a 9 month appointment

·         PhD level: $11,000 – $15,000, plus tuition (ne fees) for a 9 month appointment

For Virginia Tech:

·         The college (Ag & Life Sciences) funded range for Graduate Teaching Assistant stipends is $14,390 to 14,817, plus $10,095 of tuition for a 9 month(Academic Year) appointment.  The tuition rate applies regardless of your residential status.

·         The college (Ag & Life Sciences) funded range for Graduate Research Assistant stipends is $14,818 to 15,244, plus $10,095 of tuition for a 9 month (Academic Year) appointment.  The tuition rate applies regardless of your residential status.

University wide assistantships can range from:

·         11,363 to 32,442 for 9 month appointments.

·         15,150 to 43,256 for 12 month appointments.

For the University of Kentucky, the College-wide range is from $10,200 - $35,000 annually for those with a full-time assistantship. In addition to the stipend, they also receive UK paid health insurance and tuition waiver.

Good morning.  We’re looking forward to seeing you all in Oklahoma.  We are currently updating our pay rates for graduate assistantships.  We’d like to see what other states are using.  If you have easy access to this information, I’d appreciate receiving your minimum and maximum rates, preferably separated by masters and Ph.D. levels.  Once I receive these, I’ll compile them into a table and bring to this week’s meeting.  Thanks in advance for your responses.
