Operation: Military Kids does still exist in TN. It has always been funded by the Army even though it serves all branches of service. The State 4-H Office in Knoxville oversees the funds and programming. This part will NOT change. The only change that will occur is my specific position on the military side of the grant. I've worked out of Joint Force Headquarters on Sidco Drive in Nashville. I will no longer be there, but Operation: Military Kids will still be alive and well from the 4-H State Office. I would like to direct you to Carrera Harris Romanini in the 4-H Office in Knoxville. If you have any questions regarding Operation: Military Kids, what it funds, how it can help military youth, please contact her. She will answer your questions. Please send her an email asking to be added to her distribution list if you are not already receiving emails from her. l want you to be aware of upcoming youth events.
