Professor Walkup's first lecture is open to the public in person in SLIS Room 503 in Gorgas Library and will also available live online by way of Wimba. (Please see linked information above for instructions on accessing Professor Walkup's live presentation via Wimba.) Professor Walkup's workshop on Wednesday is open to the public in person, but will not be available via Wimba.
Professor Walkup's presentations are funded in part by an IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program Grant<http://test.imls.gov/news/2011/062111a_list.shtm#AL> that is facilitating a one-year planning process at SLIS for the development of a dual master's degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and Book Arts (MFA).
