STC Competitions: Preparing a Winning Entry
STC-ETC Competition Manager Dorothy McDuffie will discuss the purposes of STC competitions, the submission procedure, and ways you can elicit constructive feedback from the judges. She’ll give you pointers on filling
out the entry forms and preparing your document for submission. The group will discuss why certain entries won awards and how past feedback from judges improved quality. She will also discuss the merits of judging in the competition. Whether you are planning
to enter or judge in the competition, you will be interested in this discussion of quality in technical documentation.
