Subject: cataloger position: Center for Popular Music (MTSU)

Dear Professor Cortez:

The Center for Popular Music at MTSU has a job opening for a cataloger. It is currently at the .8 level (which means benefits); not much money (ca. $20K), but there's a real prospect that this will be upgraded to full-time in the next couple of years. If you know of a recent graduate or near-graduate looking for an entry level position in one of Tennessee's Centers for Excellence, with special skills in cataloging and music materials, here's a good prospect. (There is no inside person, so it's a real job.) It calls for a "Skills" test, which can be done on-line by calling the number and setting it up (i.e., you don't have to come to Murfreesboro to do it).

Please pass on to whomever.
