Trying to escape the summer heat? Wanting to hit some exciting whitewater rivers, but don't feel like being another one of the sea of kayakers? Come out to the Nantahala R., NC the weekend of August 13th to experience whitewater canoeing. We will probably try to leave that Friday and get back Sunday night. To get you even more excited about open boating, pro whitewater canoer and Mohawk team paddler Alex Vargas will be there hanging out and doing some paddling. Here's a little video of Alex and some buddies to get everyone pumped about some good old fashioned open boating fun.
